The zesty hibiscus and minty mint are great supporting cast members to the star of the drink, the juicy strawberries and  Healthy Smoothie Recipes . Ingredients 4 oz. water 1 Tbs. dried hibiscus flowers 1 Tb. Honey 1 C. chopped strawberries ¼ C. Fresh mint Strawberry ice cubes Sparkling Water Mint Water Instructions Ahead of time, make strawberry ice cubes by adding slices of fresh strawberries to an ice cube tray and freeze for at least 2 hours until firm. Bring 4 ounces of water to a boil. Stir in 1 tablespoon of dried hibiscus flowers and steep for 5 minutes. Strain the flowers and remove. Stir in 1 tablespoon honey until it dissolves. Place the hibiscus infusion in the freezer for 5 minutes Put 1 cup of chopped strawberries and ¼ cup of fresh mint in a cocktail shaker and muddle thoroughly. Add a handful of ice to the cocktail shaker, pour in the hibiscus infusion and shake vigorously for 2 minutes to blend all the flavors.

This   Healthy Recipes  of Basil-Walnut Vinaigrette is a great use for basil flowers to flavor salads and other veggies. This makes a delish accompaniment over steamed vegetables and potatoes. Ingredients:  1 tsp, chopped garlic ½ C. Basil flowers (or leaves) 2 tsp. Dijon Mustard ½ tsp. pink salt ½ tsp. pepper ¼ C. Red Wine Vinegar ¾ C. Olive Oil ½ C. finely chopped walnut pieces Instructions: Finely chop the basil flowers and leaves with the garlic or mash with a mortar and pestle. Blend in mustard. Whisk together the remaining ingredients. Allow the mixture to sit for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to blend.
